OBS Browser Source Setup

Use this guide after signing in and copying your private OBS browser source URL. SnapTaxiBot overlays are designed for Twitch creators who want stream-ready browser sources for Marvel Snap cards, locations, giveaways, polls, predictions, shoutouts, and interactive chat moments.

Open OBS And Add A Browser Source.
In your scene, select the plus button under Sources, then choose Browser.
Name It SnapTaxiBot Overlay.
A clear source name makes the overlay easier to find and troubleshoot later.
Paste Your Private SnapTaxi OBS URL.
Use the URL from the setup dashboard. Do not share this link publicly.
Set Width To 1920 And Height To 1080.
These dimensions match a standard full-screen stream canvas.
Leave Custom CSS Blank Unless Needed.
The overlay already includes its own styling, so additional CSS is usually unnecessary.
Test With Preview Commands.
Use the setup page preview link or safe mod-only overlay commands to confirm placement.

If nothing appears

  1. Open your private preview from setup and select Send test overlay. Idle overlays are transparent.
  2. If the preview works, confirm OBS uses the same full URL, the Browser source is visible, and it sits above gameplay. Refresh the Browser source cache.
  3. If both stay blank, refresh readiness in setup, save the relevant feature, and check the source connection. Reconnect Twitch when setup requests it.
  4. If you rotated a key, replace the URL in every scene that uses it. The old link intentionally stops working.

The setup test confirms an event was requested. Seeing it in OBS confirms the display. If you still need help, send a question without including the private source URL.
